Our mission is to provide parents and children the resources to make healthier food choices, encourage regular exercise and transform their way of thinking while achieving a healthier lifestyle.

Personal Training

We offer a customized fitness program for children 7 to 15 years old.  We understand losing weight and keeping it off is such a personal journey, even at a young age. Our trainers create a "no judgement" environment to help achieve maximum results.  The message to our clients, "Living a healthy lifestyle is the key, not a temporary fix".

 

Kids Under Construction offers the following programs to your family:

  • 6-week and 12-week personal training programs;

  • Parent/child 6-week and 12-week training programs;

  • Group classes of 5 to 10 children

Nutrition Recommendations

 

Every child who participates in one of the fitness programs is given a food journal to analyze their eating behaviors.  The daily eating habits are recorded for the first week and discussed during one of the training sessions. Recommendations are made to help balance their diet by incorporating healthier food selections.

Our clients are growing children and often times they need to change the foods they eat on a regular basis and get exercise on a regular basis.  We encourage moderation when it comes to portion sizes and healthier food alternatives to help children have long term results.

Motivational Speaker

 

Kimberly is a published author, coach and motivator helping adolescent children, parents, and others in the community understand the importance of living a healthy lifestyle.  Since 2005, she has worked with children who struggle with weight concerns and maintaining a healthy weight.  

She is available to speak at any child-focused event such as health fairs, church events, graduations, youth camps, conventions, school programs, etc.
